Preserving Our Community’s Stories and Memories
The Mount Torrens Archive Collection is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the photographs, documents, and stories that tell the story of our township and its people.
Based at the historic Coach House, our volunteers work to ensure Mount Torrens’ rich history is recorded and accessible for current and future generations.

Visit the Archive Collection
The Coach House welcomes visitors every Monday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
We invite you to drop in with any questions, photographs, documents, or information about past residents, families, and historic buildings. Your knowledge and memories play an important role in preserving our local heritage.
No appointment is necessary — everyone is welcome.

Digital Archiving with eHive
Our collection is digitally catalogued using eHive, a professional online archiving system used by museums and historical societies across Australia.
This allows our photographs, records, and documents to be safely stored and easily searched by researchers, students, and community members.
